The CrossFit Games 2021 are on the horizon, and many of the participants are incredibly excited. Along with the usual CrossFit Games competitions like those for men, there will also be events for women. We're all familiar with the Reebok's equipment, the Pegboard contest, and the Cutting system. The competition for women

The swim event was the start of the women's division at the 2021 Crossfit Games. Jonne Koski and Tia-Clair Toomey Orr won the first event. After maintaining her lead throughout competition, Koski was declared the overall winner. Tall and Eramoo Connell were second and third, each. It was the first Games for women, and the women's side hoped to complete the podium.

The field is full of top-level athletes in the women's competition. The field comprises nine athletes, one of whom is a teenager who won the competition in Australia last summer. Kara Saunders from Australia, who placed second in Australia and 11th globally in 2020 are other contenders. Andrea Nisler (who competed as a team in the 2018 division, finishing third in the United States and fifteenth overall for 2020) is another rising star. This year's field consists of 236 athletes, making it the largest in the history of the CrossFit Games. Major cuts occur in the first six events. The field then drops to 75 athletes. The top thirty athletes then compete in a sprint team to determine the top 10. From there, the top 20 athletes compete in the remaining six events. Castro's system was strongly criticised by former Games participants, who felt that cuts were too substantial.

Reebok's equipment

Reebok announced new CrossFit Games footwear, clothing and other equipment. The Nano X1 shoes are the new model. They are designed to suit multiple fitness requirements. Reebok claims this shoe is "the shoe that will fit all your fitness needs," but it's more like a regular training shoe. DuPont's Kevlar upper promotes breathability while ensuring durability. Reebok's contract with CrossFit will end at the end of 2020, and the Games will be without a title sponsor. Reebok sponsored the Games for more a decade.
